Prayer Points for the Ramge’s in Bolivia

Dear friends and prayer warriors,

There are a couple of unmet financial needs that we would like to share with you and ask they you pray that God would work through His people to meet these needs.

1) Thanks to Missionary Ventures, we received $5000 to buy two used motorcycles for Bolivian Quechua Missionaries.  Unfortunately cars and motorcycles here in Bolivia are 2-3 times as expensive as they are in the U.S.  We had to pay $6,500 for two used (1990) Honda 200 dirt bikes, leaving us with a $1,500 expense.

2) A while while back we were able to purchase (from GALCOM) some hand held, short wave, solar powered radios that broadcast only the Christian Quechua radios station…they have a chip with the entire Quechua Bible on it.  This is an awesome tool to teach and help an illiterate society hear the Word of God.  Some gave towards this endeavor but we fell short $1,200.

3) Please pray for Jamie’s health.  He is battling with his third bout with bronchitis this year, 2nd time this month.  He can’t seem to get his lungs cleared/healed.  The constant travel to very high altitude on very dusty roads doesn’t help.

4) Please continue to pray for pain management, and home physical therapy managment for Susan’s back (due to scoliosis.)

Thank you and God bless you for your prayers and financial support.  You are a vital part of the ministry God has us involved in with the Quechua people here in Bolivia.

We should have a newsletter with lots of photos out to you by the end of October.  You can view past newsletters at: http://jrquechua.wordpress.com/
