I talked with Jerry Gibson 9/16/14  and he seemed exactly the same as always:  he hears who’s on the other end of the phone and immediately breaks out into praise and thanks to God and then slides seamlessly into prayer and encouragement.  He says he’s very busy being a go-to reference source and mentor to many folks and that he thinks and prays for us every Friday morning and that he is there in spirit sitting at the same table as Hal.  He sends his love and prayers to all.  I asked him for a verse for the guys and without hesitation he peels off “2nd Timothy 2:2”.
